Adult Art Classes  -most can include kids as well- just check with us!

Adventure in Art offers many project-oriented art classes that are just one session in length as well as open studios that let you continue your creativity.  Our classes are designed for both people who are not artists and those who are. Mostly, it's for those who just want to have fun! New classes will be added monthly, so keep in touch.
Class fee includes all supplies unless otherwise specified.

Adult classes are also available through Metropolitan Community College.


Holiday Ornaments:
Make your own ornaments to hang on the tree, in a window, as a door hanger or to give as a hand-made gift. These can be theme inspired, like cartoon characters, hobbies or just beautiful abstract designs.  Bring in an idea and get ready to wow yourself and others!  
$29 and any additional ornaments or pendants are just $14.00 each.

Fused Glass Creation

Explore the basics of cutting and arranging glass into a beautiful creation. Choose a project that you want to do! $40.00.

 Wheel Thrown Pottery for Fun!​

Learn the basic skills and techniques to create a pot or vase on the potters wheel.  After you're done, it will dry, and get fired.  Bring more creativity the next week to decorate with glazing.  Your pot will be ready for pick up the following week.

Drawing I and II - 

For beginners or advanced students. Take Drawing I to learn the basics of materials and techniques or Drawing II to deepen your skill and work on specific effects.  This class will use varied materials, techniques and subject matter so you can evolve into a confident draftsman.  You will be led through problems that let you practice your skills and also be given time to work on special drawing projects of your own. The teacher will be a mentor and guide to assist you in reaching your goals. After your class, ask about our open studio!

Mosaic Making -

Make a statement with curb appeal.  Design and create your own address plaque or family decoration to hang at your front door.  These clever boards will be created with mosaic tiles and can be added onto later.  Each board will have a place to attach future signs for holidays or special events.  You will be working with ceramic tiles and cement so dress accordingly!
