June adult classes that are just too fun to pass up!
We have been having so much fun with College 4 Teens courses offered at Adventure in Art through Metro, that we have extended it to adults! You can either sign up your favorite teen for these fun classes or choose the adult version and have some fun yourself!
Below are the classes offered to the adults too!
They will be held right after the teens finish their class. Take a LOOK! It wouldn’t be fair for the teens to have all the fun.

--Spin It, Wheel Thrown Pottery
Explore the basic skills and techniques to compose a pot or vase on an actual potter’s wheel. After your pottery is created, it will be fired. Bring more creativity the next week to decorate your pottery. After decoration, the pottery will be fired again and available to pick up the next week. Wear old clothing. Put your hair back. Supplies included. (two weeks)

All About Matting-
Ever wondered how to protect your, or your children’s, paper artwork or photos, and finally display it instead of storing it? This class takes the mystery out of expensive matting and framing techniques. We will show why a matt protects your art, how to cut one, and how to fit it into a frame. Bring in a flat, 2D painting or drawing on paper and you will leave with a matted and secured project ready for a standard sized frame. Your art must be under 11” x 14”. Please call Adventure in Art with questions prior to class. Instructor is Beth O’Hanlon. Tuition $22.00. Lab fee is $5.00. |
